Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble metal parts according to blueprints and specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to cut, shape, and bend metal
- Operate cranes and other equipment to move heavy materials
- Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
- Ensure that finished products meet quality standards and customer requirements
Requirements:
- Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools for metalworking
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for accurate measurements
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Prior experience in metalworking or a related field is preferred. Training may be provided for candidates with transferable skills.
