What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Field Service Project Coordinator position at Powercon Corp?
Powercon Corp is a switchgear manufacturing company currently looking for a well-organized individual to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Update and maintain Field Service Database systems
- Generate, trip packets, service reports, action requests, and defective material reports
- Update and maintain the Field Service Calendar
- Coordinate internally within company departments (Engineering, Sales, Shop/Floor Management, QC/quality control, Shipping)
- Coordinate externally with Sales Reps, Customer Jobsite Crew Leaders, and Sub-contractors
- Track tool calibration, maintenance of company service fleet, shipments, and open/incomplete field issues
- Ability to be trained in managing field technicians, providing estimates, quotes, and carrying out service orders
Qualifications
- Familiarity with electrical systems, the manufacturing industry, and job site construction is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Google Drive
- Requires reliable transportation and the ability to work 5 days a week in an office setting (HYBRID work may become available)
- Needs to be a proactive problem solver
- Ability to communicate with a diverse population via phone, email, in person and video conferencing
- Ability to lift 50lbs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
