THIS JOB IS LOCATED IN KENOSHA, WI
The Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. They are responsible for supporting all plant maintenance operations including fabrication, machine repair and maintenance, and building and grounds.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Requires a high school diploma, a maintenance certificate or relevant experience, welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment. Detail oriented, highly organized team player with effective communication skills.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in repair and maintenance of all components of production machines
- Inspect machines and equipment to locate and diagnose causes of malfunctions
- Dismantle machines and equipment
- Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems
- Assist in design, weld, fabrication of parts, fixtures assemblies as necessary
- Start and test machines and equipment for proper operation following a repair
- Setup and troubleshooting of the auto weld lines to ensure proper welds
- Setup and troubleshoot manual welders and fixtures to ensure quality of product
- Must be able to perform all maintenance work in compliance with the QMS and OSHA requirements
- Must be available for overtime when necessary
- Electrical experience a plus min 120vac
- Misc. Activities to include (but not limited to): painting, lighting, plumbing, overhead and personnel doors, HVAC, roofing, ground maintenance, building maintenance
