Job Summary:
POWER is looking for a full-time Human Resource Generalist to join our team in our Swissvale, PA office.
The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
The ideal person for this position has a proven expertise in Human Resources to include practiced experience in talent acquisition, benefits administration, analytics/reporting, and managing to agency policies and procedures. They should demonstrate the capability to manage competing priorities across multiple core HR areas of practice and be comfortable in a true Generalist HR role. They will be Microsoft 365 proficient and tech savvy with a passion for process improvement. To be successful in this role, the individual should possess a high level of business acumen that encompasses patience, compassion, and respect for all individuals with whom they interact. They should demonstrate belonging and possess excellent listening and communication skills through all interactions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in HR
- Experience with recruitment and selection as an HR specialist
- Strong foundational knowledge of employment laws
- Tech Savvy and highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite, SharePoint, and various HRIS and HR core systems.
- Act 73, 33, and 34 clearances required
- PHR or SHRM certification preferred
