Medical Integration Associate

Title: Medical Integration Associate – Cardiac Rehabilitation
Location: Thibodaux Regional Fitness Center
Type: Part-Time (3 days per week: M, W, TH dayshift)
Hours: 20–25 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor participants during exercise, including heart rate and blood pressure
• Support staff with basic telemetry monitoring (training provided)
• Assist with supervision of cardiac rehabilitation exercise sessions
• Ensure equipment is set up, clean, and functioning properly
• Provide encouragement and guidance to patients throughout their exercise programs
• Maintain accurate documentation as directed by supervising staff
• Uphold safety protocols and respond appropriately in emergency situations
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients in a professional and compassionate manner
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Telemetry experience preferred but not required as training is provided
• Interest in health, fitness, or medical field strongly preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and maintain a controlled and professional demeanor
• Ability to work in a clinical, team-oriented environment
• CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire (provided by Power Wellness)

Work Environment:
This position operates within a medically supervised cardiac rehabilitation setting, working closely with healthcare professionals and patients managing cardiovascular conditions.
