What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial & Residential Exterior Specialist -- Crew Lead Track position at Power Washing Pros STL?
POWER WASHING PROS STL
Chesterfield / St. Louis County
Commercial & Residential Exterior Specialist
Crew Lead Track • Full-Time • Year-Round
Earning Potential: $65,000–$85,000 Annually
Performance-based pay — the more you produce, the more you earn
Built for people who are ready to grow.
If you are good with your hands, dependable, comfortable working outdoors, and ready for more than a dead-end job — this role is worth a serious look.
Power Washing Pros STL is a locally owned, expanding exterior cleaning company serving residential and commercial customers across the St. Louis area. We are hiring a Commercial & Residential Exterior Specialist on a Crew Lead Track: someone who can learn our system, run a job from start to finish, represent the company professionally, and grow into leading a crew.
Power washing experience is helpful but not the deciding factor. Trainability, dependability, mechanical thinking, problem-solving, customer service, accountability, and attention to detail matter more.
What Makes This Role Different
This is a leadership-track position, not a seasonal labor job. The pay structure is tied directly to production — which means the crew lead who runs an efficient, professional truck earns significantly more than average field labor.
Employees who complete the training and certification process will:
- Lead a crew truck and own field operations day to day
- Earn performance-based pay tied directly to job revenue
- Build income through a Crew Lead Revenue Sharing Program
- Take on increasing responsibility as the company adds trucks and crews
- Become candidates for field operations leadership as the company scales
The Opportunity
- Earning potential of $65,000–$85,000 annually at certified crew lead level
- Paid training starting at $17–$20 per hour during the development period
- Crew Lead Certification — Power Washing Pros STL standard
- Performance bonuses based on production, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Year-round, full-time employment track for the right person
- Holiday light installation as part of the winter service lineup — keeping the right people working year-round
- Paid uniforms and uniform maintenance
- Outdoor, active work — no desk, no office
- Real growth path in a locally owned company that is building for the long term
About the Pay
This is a performance-based position. There is no fixed salary. Pay is structured so that a driven, efficient crew lead earns well above average and continues increasing earnings as the company grows.
Training period starts at $17–$20 per hour depending on experience. Once certified to run a truck independently, pay transitions to a commission structure tied directly to job revenue — 15% of residential gross, 10% of commercial gross. The crew lead’s assistant is paid separately by the company and does not come out of the crew lead’s earnings.
A crew lead working a full schedule at current production levels earns $65,000–$85,000 annually. High performers earn more.

Who We Are Looking For
We are not looking for someone who needs to be told what to do every step of the way. We are looking for someone who treats the truck like it is their own business — because in terms of how you are paid, it functionally is.
The ideal candidate shows up with integrity, handles customers professionally, solves field problems without calling for help on small issues, and takes pride in a finished job.
Prior experience in landscaping, construction, roofing, painting, auto detailing, military service, or any hands-on trade work is a strong signal. Power washing experience is helpful but not required.
Hiring Process
We run a straightforward three-step process:
- Phone screen — quick, 10–15 minutes
- In-person interview — meet the team, see the truck and equipment
- Paid working interview — a real job day so we can see how you operate
How to Apply
When you reach out, include your name, a quick summary of your relevant hands-on work experience, and why you would be a dependable person to trust with customers, equipment, and eventually a truck.
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
