What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at Power Vac of Michigan?
General Laborer Responsibilities:
- Partner and work side-by-side with other team members including other general laborers and operators to ensure jobs are completed safely and efficiently
- Assist and learn the operations of the various equipment, Combination Trucks & Hydro Trucks
- Maintain a clean job site (picks up all tools & equipment on job-site)
- Ensure proper safety & incident reporting procedures are followed
- Provide high-quality and professional customer service
- Maintain company equipment and tools
General Laborer Qualifications:
- Valid Drivers License with Chauffer’s License preferred
- Ability to work in a wide variety of weather conditions
- Comfortable working with various technology and software (i.e. tablets & smart devices)
- Self-starter with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse team
- Ability to undergo and pass a DOT physical examination, Pre-Employment Drug Screen and MVR/Background check.

We are a 24/7 Emergency Service operation which will require this position to occasionally work after-hours and weekend shifts as well as being able to assist with emergency response calls as needed, this requirement is a part of an on-call rotation amongst the team.
