We’re seeking a seasoned and safety-conscious CDL Flatbed Class A Driver to roll with our dynamic crew. As a key player on our team, you’ll be entrusted with the safe transport and delivery of high-end equipment to set locations, keeping productions running smoothly. Whether you're hauling gear for a red carpet event or on set for a major film shoot, your role is crucial in making sure everything arrives on time, in perfect condition, and ready to shine.
What You’ll Do:
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer or heavy-duty flatbed truck (26,000 GVW) to transport rental equipment.
- Load, secure, and unload heavy machinery and construction equipment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle and trailer integrity.
- Ensure DOT and company compliance with all safety regulations and proper documentation.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of deliveries, pickups, and service calls.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clients receive their equipment safely and on time.
- Suggest additional equipment or services that may help customers complete their projects.
- Report mechanical issues, delays, or safety concerns to dispatch.
- Work primarily night shifts, with flexibility for weekend work as needed.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience (DOT-regulated).
- Previous experience with heavy equipment hauling and flatbed operations is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of load securement procedures, tie-downs, chains, and safety requirements.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor equipment troubleshooting in the field.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying outdoor conditions.
- Commitment to safety and a strong work ethic.
