POSITION SUMMARY
The Lithium Product Line Manager is a business-minded product leader responsible for defining, growing, and sustaining Power-Sonic’s global Lithium portfolio. This role owns product strategy, roadmap development, positioning, lifecycle management, and commercial success across targeted vertical markets.
The ideal candidate combines deep Lithium-ion domain knowledge with strong commercial instincts and data-driven decision-making. Acting as the voice of the customer and the market, this role translates application requirements and technology trends into compelling, profitable product offerings.
This position works cross-functionally with Commercial, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Marketing, and serves as a key interface to Tier-1 OEM customers and strategic suppliers.
Application scope includes industrial, infrastructure, and mission-critical Lithium systems such as UPS, telecom, data centers, mobility, and grid-adjacent applications.
This role has decision authority over Lithium product roadmap priorities, portfolio structure, and go-to-market positioning, in alignment with executive leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Own global Lithium product strategy, roadmap, and portfolio structure
• Lead new product introductions (NPI) and product lifecycle management
• Manage portfolio decisions across Lithium chemistries (LFP, NMC, NCA) and form factors
• Define competitive positioning, pricing, and value propositions
• Support OEM RFQs, audits, and long-term supply agreements
• Own product data (specs, certifications, documentation) across ERP, PIM, and digital channels
• Lead cross-functional teams for NPI and OEM customization projects
• Coordinate testing, validation, and regulatory compliance (UL, RoHS, REACH)
• Drive cost, margin, and supplier strategy improvements
• Track KPIs including revenue growth, gross margin, and time-to-market
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Proven ability to translate technical data into customer value propositions
2. Working knowledge of Battery testing methodologies, Safety architectures (BMS, thermal mitigation, protection circuits), and Pack-level vs cell-level design trade-offs
3. Strong understanding of Lithium battery performance trade-offs (cycle life, DoD, C-rate, safety, degradation)
4. Experience leading cross-functional teams
5. Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, Power Query, and data visualization tools
6. Excellent communication, documentation, and executive presentation skills
7. Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, PIM tools, and advanced analytics.
8. Presents a professional image to all stakeholders of the business.
9. Adheres to established company policies / procedures.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related technical field (MBA preferred)
• 3–5 years of product management or product leadership experience in Lithium-ion batteries or advanced power electronics
• Hands-on experience with Lithium chemistries (LFP, NMC, NCA)
• Experience supporting Tier-1 OEM customers with strict quality and documentation requirements
• Proven NPI and global portfolio ownership
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Knowledge of battery testing, BMS, thermal management, and safety systems
• Strong analytical skills (Excel, Power BI)
• Experience with ERP and PIM systems
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
