What are the responsibilities and job description for the Skidding Project Manager position at Power Solutions, LLC?
We are developing a dedicated Skidding Team focused on off-site assembly of electrical switchgear, panels, transformers, busduct systems, and related modular electrical assemblies. The Skidding PM will lead planning, coordination, documentation, and execution of skidding projects in coordination with the design and production teams.
This role is responsible for keeping skidding projects organized, on schedule, properly documented, and coordinated across GC, Prefab, BIM, Warehouse, QC, Testing, Vendors, and Electrical Contractor Project Teams.
Coordinate with the project team and extract required information required to begin the skid design and production process.
Track equipment lists, skid quantities, phasing, delivery dates, and critical path milestones.
Maintain open item logs, RFI logs, decision logs, and project trackers.
Coordinate with metal fabricators and vendors for skid base release, fabrication status, and delivery.
Work with warehouse and QC teams to track OFCI equipment receiving, inspections, staging, and documentation.
Coordinate with the testing division for NETA testing, torque verification, mechanical inspections, and required test documentation.
Prepare required submittals, documentation, handoff packages, installation guides, shipping plans, and closeout documents.
Ability to push for answers and maintain accountability without creating conflict.
5 yrs project management or construction coordination background.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to read electrical drawings, one-lines, equipment schedules, and submittals.
Comfortable managing schedules, trackers, RFIs, meeting notes, and documentation.
Strong communication skills with project managers, executives, field leadership, and vendors.
Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
