Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack and prepare orders for shipment.
- Inspect and verify products for quality and quantity before shipment.
- Utilize barcode scanning equipment and warehouse management systems to track inventory and fulfill orders.
- Operate equipment, such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and manual pallet jacks, to move and organize inventory in the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of warehouse processes and procedures.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to operate forklifts and/or pallet jacks or willingness to learn.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with warehouse management systems and barcode scanning equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends during November-January.
- Good communication, attendance and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma/GED
- At least six months of experience in distribution or manufacturing required
- Ability to frequently lift, slide and lower packages up to 50 pounds.
- AM Shift : 5am-2pm M-F
- PM Shift: 2pm-12:30am M-Th
- Ability to work overtime and weekends
