The Job at a Glance: Our Inside Sales Representatives sell online and print advertising to local, regional and national companies of all sizes throughout the U.S. PPM sells on behalf of USA TODAY Special Editions and on behalf of hundreds of professional and collegiate sports teams in the MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL and NCAA. Locally we represent the Lions, Pistons, Red Wings and Tigers. Expectation is to develop new business and grow existing accounts.
Compensation: $50,000- $60,000 salary, depending on experience. Additional bonuses available based on sales performances.
What We Are Looking For/Elements of the Job:
- Sales experience preferred, but not required (we provide training).
- Excellent verbal communication is a must. You will spend your time making contact and building relationships with business owners and marketing executives throughout the country.
- Self motivated, goal oriented with the understanding that hard work results in financial success
- New Business Development
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Excellent communication skills. Must be comfortable conducting business over the phone
- Strong desire to work in sales.
