I’m recruiting a Senior HVAC Mechanical Estimator for one of the Southeast’s leading commercial mechanical contractors. This is a growing company with a genuinely great culture, experienced people to collaborate with, and leadership that wants its estimators involved in the decisions—not just the takeoffs.
You’ll work alongside the Director of Preconstruction and company leadership to decide which projects to pursue. From there, you’ll help shape the bid, build the estimate, work through solutions with the project team, and mentor other estimators.

What you’ll do: Develop detailed estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other project costs. You’ll perform HVAC takeoffs across hydronic and air-side systems; build budgets from early narratives through construction documents; review vendor and subcontractor proposals; develop scopes and bid packages; coordinate equipment and controls pricing; and work with project managers to resolve scope issues and set projects up for success.
You’ll be a strong match if you have 4-10 years in the HVAC industry, substantial commercial mechanical estimating experience, the ability to read drawings and specifications, and the confidence to guide others while managing multiple bids.
