- Pay: $35.00/hr
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Shifts: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Location: Palo Alto
- Start Date: 01/05/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks initially

Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Medical Assistant Certificate from an approved school/institution or equivalent documented training
Licenses & Certifications:
- BLS – Basic Life Support
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years as a Medical assistant in outpatient, specialty, or primary care clinic settings
- Proficiency with Epic
- Experience handling prescription refills, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling
Licenses & Certifications:
- CMA – Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
Responsibilities
- Patient rooming, vital signs, and basic clinical procedures
- Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and medical records
- Assist physicians with exams, procedures, vaccinations, specimen collection, and patient care tasks
- Perform waived testing (urine dipstick, pregnancy test, blood glucose, EKGs, etc.)
- Process prescription refill requests per established practice
- Schedule patient and radiology appointments
- Provide outstanding customer service and act as a patient advocate
- Manage patient phone calls, messages, and provider inbox workflows
- Support check-in/out, insurance verification, and authorizations
- Maintain clinic cleanliness, organization, and supply stocking
- Coordinate referrals and service authorization processes
- Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations
