Now Hiring: Oregon Journeyman Electrician — Commercial Solar Project
Power Northwest is hiring one licensed Oregon Journeyman Electrician for a commercial solar project lasting approximately 3–6 months.
Pay: $82.51 per hour — prevailing wage
This is a project-based, full-time opportunity for an experienced electrician who takes pride in quality workmanship, prioritizes safety, and has a proven background in commercial solar installation.
Requirements:
- Current Oregon Journeyman Electrician license
- Prior commercial solar installation experience
- Ability to read plans, schematics, and electrical layouts
- Strong knowledge of the NEC and applicable local codes
- Experience troubleshooting field issues and completing system verification
- Familiarity with commercial electrical, building, and roofing systems
- Ability to lead by example and work effectively with installers and other trades
- Commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work from ladders, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain it promptly
