Job Description Summary:
Maintains accurate and on-time work orders and records relative to the PM department’s operation within the dealership. Assure that all charges related to work orders are posted properly, including entry time for service technicians. Assure all work orders are closed on a timely basis. Process Warranty Invoices and Customer Invoices. Must conduct themselves in the presence of customers in a manner that promotes a positive image of the company. This description is a overview and may have other duties as assigned.
Key Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Open, input, close and invoice work orders.
- Handles work order charges and claims coverage including computation of charges, submission, and follow-up.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area.
- Accounts for all time on a timecard and for all material used in performing assigned duties
- Handles PM department filing and records.
- Schedule machines for service and maintain machine records
- Updates customer profiles using equipment, hours or other information from the customer’s work orders.
- Assist in handling customer complaints and concerns
- Greet customers immediately in a courteous manner
- Treat customers fairly and with honesty, and demonstrate our commitment to superior customer service and ethical business practices
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suites
- General understanding of mechanical/technical terms preferred
- Experience working in a service department preferred
- Background in Heavy Equipment preferred
- Ability to write and work on routine reports and correspondence
