What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Specialist position at Power/mation?
Power/mation has an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This is a full-time direct hire position working Monday-Friday from approximately 7:30am-4:00pm (with some flexibility).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Processing invoices
- Working with vendors, sales team, and warehouse staff to resolve invoice issues
- Setting up vendors and assisting in the 1099 reporting process
- Participating in the weekly check run preparation
- Updating and maintaining Excel worksheets
- Filing
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Data entry experience required
- Accounting experience preferred
- Intermediate computer skills. Experience with an ERP system such as Epicor Profit21 is preferred
- Ability to problem solve, pay attention to detail and make decisions in order to efficiently resolve issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player and positive attitude
