Duties
- Safely operate 24ft - 26ft box trucks with lift gate, on local deliveries
- Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques, ensuring proper cargo securing and adherence to safety standards
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules
- Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and hazardous materials regulations when handling dangerous goods or hazardous materials
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance before each route
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving with box trucks
- Knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures, including freight handling for logistics cargo handling
- Must be reliable and on time
- Strong understanding of FMCSA, DOT regulations, and dangerous goods handling protocols
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with local routes
- Effective communication skills for coordinating deliveries and following route instructions accurately

Pay: $125.00 - $150.00 per day
