Role Overview

This role reports directly to the VP of Product and is part of our Product & Analytics team.

What you will be doing

Power Kiosk is seeking a Data Scientist who can bridge advanced modeling with practical business impact. This role combines deep analytical rigor with strong business intuition, owning everything from data preparation and modeling to delivering actionable insights that drive revenue, product strategy, and operational performance.

You’ll work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Finance, and Leadership to transform data into clear, strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deploy statistical and machine learning models to drive revenue, product strategy, and operational decisions. 
• Develop scalable data workflows and reusable modeling frameworks.
• Explore and implement advanced techniques (e.g., forecasting, segmentation, optimization models). 
• Extract, clean, and analyze large data sets to uncover trends, performance drivers, & growth opportunities. 
• Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to support business visibility and decision-making. 
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning through data-driven insights. 
• Partner with Sales, Product, and Finance to support strategic initiatives and optimize performance. 
• Translate complex analysis into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders. 
• Prioritize and manage analytics requests across teams, ensuring high-impact outcomes. 

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL for data manipulation, analysis and modeling. 
• Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization tools
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into business insights. 
• Experience working with sales, financial, or operational data to drive decision-making. 
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders. 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a bias toward action.
