What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Engineer position at Power Integrations?
Job scope & responsibilities:
- Support MOCVD process manufacturing and engineering activities on multi-wafer production reactors for high voltage devices.
- Develop MOCVD recipe based on device structure & designs.
- Troubleshoot MOCVD material growth issues.
- Responsible for equipment performance metrics and productivity requirements
- Ensure that all epitaxial materials meet the SPC requirements
- Support and document production action plans and FMEA
- Support yield and uptime improvement activities for ongoing epi wafer.
- Interact closely with Device and Foundry Engineering groups to develop novel high voltage FETs for next generation low and high-power application.
- The ideal candidate will be willing to support reactor maintenance activities.
- Work in a cleanroom environment and adhere to good manufacturing practices.
Requirements:
- Min of 5 years’ experience in MOCVD manufacturing of III-Vs nitrides materials.
- Min of MS in Material Science or equivalent, Ph.D preferred.
- The position is intended for a split week coverage, including partial weekend.
- Experience with GaN material growth with Veeco’s MOCVD tools is preferred.
