Position Summary:
As a Mobile Service Technician, you will represent Power Ford out in the field by performing maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles at customer homes or businesses. This role is perfect for a customer-focused technician who values independence, problem-solving, and delivering top-notch service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer locations to perform scheduled maintenance and minor repairs (e.g., oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements).
- Diagnose minor vehicle issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Maintain a fully equipped mobile service vehicle, ensuring tools and inventory are organized and stocked.
- Accurately document services performed and communicate clearly with customers.
- Provide a friendly, professional experience that reflects the Power Ford brand.
- Uphold safety and compliance standards at all times.
- Collaborate with the service department to schedule and coordinate mobile visits efficiently.
Job Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as an automotive technician (Ford certification is a plus).
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to perform routine maintenance and light repair work.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in the field.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
