What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler position at Power-Flo Technologies Inc?
Full Time, Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM.
Pay Range: $18 - $22/hour

Assembler Required Skills
- Previous experience or training in a shop/industrial setting
- Mechanically inclined
- Familiar with taking measurements and working with a ruler
- Familiar with assembling components
- Able to follow instructions in a proper manner
- Familiar with shop tools (hand tools, power tools, etc)
- Valid and clean driver's license to operate company vehicles as needed
Assembler Daily Tasks
- Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project
- Sourcing the materials to be used in the project
- Measuring and cutting materials to specifications
- Assembly of switchboard enclosures and interior electrical components
- Preparing metal surfaces for finishing
- Working with design team to complete switchgear packages
- Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints
- Preparing completed packages for shipment
Assembler Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely use and lift equipment weighing 50 lbs.
- Ability to work standing up to 8 hours per day.
- This position occasionally requires sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
- Exposure to dust, loud noise, and temperature changes.
Candidates must have a valid and clean NY State driver's license to operate company vehicles as needed.
