We are currently searching for a dynamic Training Facilitator to join our Credit Union family. This position will be based at our Sheridan Branch location (Pembroke Pines- I-75 & Sheridan). The Learning and Development Training Facilitator serves a critical hybrid role involving Training /Classroom instruction on different facets of Learning and Development to include operations, technical and interpersonal training across the PFCU organization in addition to serving as an internal training consultant to the various business lines.


In this position you will:

  • Provide necessary operations, technical and interpersonal training (for new and existing team members) which includes assigned projects and regulatory training; work closely with L & D Manager to ensure accuracy of new and existing procedures; conduct training needs assessments and designs new courses and workshops, as requested, to include materials and visuals; work with subject-matter experts including Project Management Office on a variety of simple to complex training needs.
  • Work closely with Manager on a variety of PFCU wide organizational Methods and Procedures; will assist with the development of, research and administration (as needed) in the communication of policies and procedures, new products and regulatory compliance
  • Support onboarding, orientation, and other skills training for new employees; support Human Resources, and L& D initiatives throughout the year; conduct post-class assessments for the purpose of improving PFCU programs.
  • Serve on a variety of project teams and assist in the testing of new technology and processes. 
  • Ensure adherence at all times to all PFCU policies and procedures, all required state and federal regulations including the Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Promote the PFCU brand at all times by supporting PFCU's goals (Membership Growth, Deposit Growth, Loans & Community Involvement) while maintaining PFCU Values (R.E.S.P.E.C.T.).
  • Other duties as assigned.


To be considered you will need:

  • High School graduate or GED equivalency required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum required: A minimum of 3 years of delivery experience on a multitude of interpersonal and operational/technical trainings and programs; A minimum of 2 years of instructional design experience.
  • Minimum preferred: 2 years of financial services experience.


Some of the skills necessary for this position include the following:


  • Excellent verbal, oral, written and interpersonal communication.
  • Strong presentation skills to include the ability to engage the audience in the learning process. 
  • Must have consultative skills to work with internal Managers on a variety of training programs.
  • Ability to tailor training methods to meet the needs of various learning styles.
  • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
  • Ability to lead virtual presentations.
  • Must have the capacity to be a strong classroom leader on a multitude of trainings. Strong public speaking experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrent with ability to multitask with a high sense of urgency. 
  • Excellent Computer skills; Microsoft Office systems including: Word, Excel, Power Point and Virtual Training Technologies.
  • Must have ability to meet attendance standards and adhere to work schedule.


MUST be available to work onsite M-F in our Pembroke Pines, FL location.
