What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Assistant position at Power Engineering And Mfg Ltd?
This position is for a working maintenance assistant. A working knowledge of general maintenance is a must and willing to get hands dirty.
Essential functions:
- Process purchase requests.
- Research products and obtain quotes.
- Create and manage a Preventative Maintenance schedule.
- Maintain inventory database.
- Assist in the development of work instructions.
- Pick up parts from stores when needed.
- List and sell parts on Ebay.
- Contribute to the day-to-day maintenance duties.
- General safety and maintenance inspection.
Requirements and Skills required:
- Experience: Proven experience in maintenance or a related field within a manufacturing setting.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial machinery, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Safety Awareness: Familiarity with safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Leadership Abilities: Ability to lead a team, delegate tasks, and maintain discipline.
- Problem-Solving: Effective troubleshooting skills to address equipment malfunctions.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and coordination abilities.
- Communication: Clear communication skills for team coordination and reporting.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certifications are advantageous
Certifications:
- Must have valid Drivers License
