Junior Graphic Designer

About the Position

Power Design is on the hunt for a creative, curious, and motivated Junior Graphic Designer to join our Creative Services team, a group of brand champions who love great ideas and aren’t afraid to explore them. In this role, you’ll help shape how one of Tampa Bay’s largest private companies shows up in the world, designing everything from digital and print pieces to social and external communications.

You’ll collaborate with teammates across the company, turn ideas into visuals, and help bring our brand stories to life. This is a great opportunity for an early-career designer who’s excited to learn, experiment, and grow their skills in layout, typography, and visual storytelling while contributing to a high-quality, ever-evolving brand.

Position Responsibilities

• Bring the Brand to Life: Create eye-catching designs that tell Power Design’s story and strengthen our brand across digital, print, social, and external communications. Adapt and evolve the visual style across various projects while staying true to our core brand identity.
• Explore Ideas (and Lots of Them): Jump into brainstorming, concepting, and creative exploration, bringing multiple design options, ideas, and directions to the table.
• Concept to Creation: Help research, plan, and design thoughtful creative solutions that support business goals and communication needs.
• Juggle with Confidence: Manage multiple projects at once, shifting priorities as needed while still hitting deadlines.
• Polish the Details: Prepare files for print, production, and digital delivery so everything looks great and works as intended.
• Collaborate & Learn: Partner with teammates and internal stakeholders, taking feedback in stride and using it to level up your work.
• Show Off Our People & Culture: Design pieces that spotlight our teams, projects, campus events, jobsites, and company culture.
• Keep Things Organized: Help maintain a clean, accessible library of brand assets, templates, and graphics.

Here’s What We’re Looking For

• 3 years of graphic design experience (internships and relevant freelance work count!)
• A strong portfolio of work samples is required and should showcase your creativity, design fundamentals, and range of projects
• Solid skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• A good understanding of basic print production and how to prep files correctly
• A creative mindset with a willingness to explore, experiment, and iterate
• Comfort managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Strong communication skills and a positive, solutions-focused attitude
• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working on campus
• A desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a team that values integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth
