Job Title: Machine Assembler

Location: Miller Formless – Manufacturing Facility
Reports To: Lead Machine Assembler

Job Summary:

The Machine Assembler is responsible for assembling and installing machinery at Miller Formless. This role ensures efficient workflow, maintains quality standards, and promotes a safe and productive work environment. The Machine Assembler will work closely with a team to complete machine builds, follow assembly procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. This role also includes taking on any additional responsibilities as needed to support the success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install machinery according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Ensure all components are properly fitted, aligned, and secured.
• Conduct quality checks to verify completed assemblies meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues to maintain production efficiency.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments required for assembly.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Assist in process improvements to enhance assembly efficiency and product quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on assembly tools and equipment.
• Take on any additional responsibilities or tasks as assigned to ensure operational success.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certifications preferred).
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in mechanical assembly, machine building, or a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools for assembly tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and compliance.

Work Environment:

• This position operates in a manufacturing environment and requires frequent standing, walking, and interaction with machinery.
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. may be required.
• Work may involve exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures within the plant.
