Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled candidate to join our team. Duties
- Safely operate the facility vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide transportation services for our residents, ensuring their comfort and safety during transit.
- Communicate effectively with passengers and caregivers regarding schedules, routes, and any changes.
- Manage behavior of passengers as necessary to maintain a positive environment during transport.
- Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking the vehicle, providing support as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and mechanical integrity of the vehicle through regular inspections and reporting any issues.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality customer service.
Experience
- Proven experience in bus driving or commercial driving is prefered.
- Familiarity with paratransit services is highly desirable.
- Experience working with seniors or patients in a senior care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle operation is a plus.
- Previous experience in teaching or behavior management can be beneficial for this role.
