Duct Bank Crew Laborer

Job Summary

Duct Bank Laborer will assist in trenching, digging, and shoring (there will be Safety preparation at all jobs). They will assist in the installation of 6” PVC conduits, spacers, cuts & bends. They will ensure the trench is backfilled properly, rock compaction must be performed, and the concrete poured must go over and around the conduit for the proper encasement.

Duties:

• Operate and care for construction equipment and machines
• Assist with proper disposal of debris and waste materials
• Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
• Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks
• Load and unload construction materials
• Comply with all DOT, EPA, and OSHA regulations
• Put together and take apart temporary structures
• Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary
• Perform site clean up

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Alcohol and Drug Screen
• Must Pass a Criminal Background Check
• Must have a Clear Driving Record
• Must be able to work Nights and Weekends when needed
• Must be able to work extended hours and variable shifts
• Must wear all required PPE
• Must be 18 years or older

Experience:

• Duct Bank Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Construction Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Excavator: 2 years (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Required)
• Night Shift (As Needed)
• Overnight Shift (As Needed)
• Weekends (As Needed)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• CDL A License (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Miami, FL 33194 (Required)
