Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Solderer to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hand soldering through-hole and surface-mount (SMT) components onto power control boards and complex electronic assemblies.
Key Responsibilities
- Soldering: Perform hand soldering, de-soldering, and component replacement on PCB assemblies.
- Assembly: Populate power control boards with components, including occasional part preparation.
- Documentation: Read and interpret Bill of Materials, schematics, and work instructions.
- Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workstation and ensure soldering equipment is operating correctly.
- Safety: Maintain ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-3 years of soldering experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of through-hole and SMT soldering techniques.
- Soldering certification (IPC) is a plus (but not required)
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- US Citizenship required.
Physical Requirements
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to see markings on small components such as resistors, capacitors, and ICs for proper installation.
