Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations and delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed.
• Assist in food preparation tasks as required, including basic chopping and assembling ingredients.
• Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager promptly.

Skills

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Experience with bussing tables and serving food is a plus.
• Familiarity with culinary practices, including cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 18 per week
