Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment using precision measuring instruments, schematics, and electrical blueprints.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical components to minimize downtime.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
- Perform equipment repairs including welding, electrical diagnostics, low voltage repairs, and the use of tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Read electrical schematics and engineering troubleshooting manuals to identify faults accurately.
- Operate industrial machinery such as scissor lifts safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting pneumatic systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize equipment performance.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures related to HVAC/R systems, and electrical maintenance.
Experience
- Proven experience working within manufacturing facilities or industrial environments with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and electrical systems.
- Experience with 110-480 Volt single and 3 phase.
- Experience with 0-24 volt DC.
- Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance across various machinery types.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance planning.
- Technical knowledge of HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, schematics reading, and electrical blueprint interpretation.
- Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools for electrical diagnostics.
- Skilled in welding ( welding or equivalent), low voltage electrical repair, and industrial electrician practices.
- Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems troubleshooting, hydraulic systems operation, and pneumatic system troubleshooting is highly desirable.
