What are the responsibilities and job description for the Land Survey Field Technician position at Powell CWM, Inc.?
Land survey technicians assist surveyors in obtaining and computing relevant data.Complete all field operations for a variety of surveying projects including topographic surveys, boundary surveys, transportation surveys, and construction layout.The ability to obtain OSHA 10 safety training.Work well with co-workers and managers.Must be self-motivated and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Require little supervision, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to quickly adopt company standards.Must be able to withstand the elements of the outdoors and dress appropriately.Valid driver license.Must be able to pass background clearances for government jobs and have a clean driving record.Other duties as assignedPreferences with be given to candidates with land surveying experience and those with current OSHA 10 safety training.Willing to train the right candidate.Job Type: Full-timeHours: Start time 7:30am, end time can vary.Company DescriptionPowell CWM, Inc. is an architecture design, civil engineering, and land surveying firm built on a legacy of personalized client service, superior technical execution, and a dedication to delivering client’s vision.Our office is located on the outskirts of Independence MO and is very accessible by several major interstates.
