Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Representative role based in Traverse City, MI. The Business Development Representative will identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound outreach, inbound lead follow-up, and targeted prospecting within key customer segments. Responsibilities include conducting discovery calls, understanding client needs, and positioning Powdr’s AI, automation, and IT services as solutions that address real business challenges. The role involves maintaining a structured sales pipeline, scheduling and supporting meetings or demos for senior sales and technical team members, and tracking activity in the CRM. The Business Development Representative will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to refine messaging, provide feedback on market trends, and contribute to revenue growth goals. The position also requires consistent on-site presence to engage with the team, participate in strategy sessions, and support in-person events or client visits as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills, including prospecting, cold outreach, and qualification of potential clients.
- Proven Sales and Business Development experience, with the ability to manage a pipeline and move opportunities through the sales process.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and professional client interaction.
- Ability to quickly understand and explain technology, AI, automation, and IT service offerings in business-focused terms.
