The Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following Qualifications
- Passion for utility engineering with an interest in long-range planning.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication, member service and problem-solving abilities.
- 5 years of electric utility or related experience
- Ability to perform complex engineering analysis and planning for system specifications and requirements.
- Knowledge of transmission and distribution system operations.
- Ability to organize work and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge and experience in utilization of computer application for engineering functions. Working knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Milsoft WindMil, and LightTable, as well as other software applications utilized within PRECorp.
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to be an effective member of a team are required.
- A high degree of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information will be required.
- A valid driver's license is required.
