Position Overview
The Light Facilities Technician supports the day-to-day upkeep of Powder Mountain facilities through general maintenance, minor repairs, and preventative tasks. This role is ideal for a skilled handyman or woman who can work independently, respond to service tickets, and support seasonal changeovers. This position is full-time seasonal and the schedule is Thursday - Sunday 10am-8pm.
Key Responsibilities
Work is performed inside and outside. Candidate will be exposed to extreme temperatures (hot &cold), sun and wind exposure, inclement weather (rain, snow, ice), high altitudes (9,000ft ), moving machines/equipment, dust, wet, humid, dry, loud noises, and fumes from chemical conditions and frequent altitude changes.

Position Overview

This role is ideal for a skilled handyman or woman who can work independently, respond to service tickets, and support seasonal changeovers. Key Responsibilities
- Perform minor repairs (lighting, door hardware, filters, painting, basic plumbing)
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance in lodges and offices
- Respond to work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with snow/ice removal and seasonal transitions (summer to winter ops)
- Support cleanliness, safety, and daily readiness of guest-facing facilities
- Communicate needs and issues to coordinators for escalation
- 2 years hands-on maintenance or building operations experience
- Basic electrical and plumbing familiarity (non-licensed work)
- Reliable, team-oriented, and able to follow a structured daily plan
- Comfortable using work order management apps or digital logs Limble experience is a plus
- High school diploma or GED required; trade school a plus
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
- Full range of body movements
- Reach, push, pull, lift, and carry objects that may be heavy (50lbs)
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and twisting
- Must have command of senses – sight, hearing, touch, and smell
- Vision requirements – close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception
- Walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain
- Climb/descend stairs/ladders
- Manual dexterity to operate manual tools and power equipment on a constant basis
- Safely handle hazardous materials
