Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated to join our dynamic team as a Construction and Painting Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of painting, restoration, and construction tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will ensure that all surfaces are prepared, coated, and finished to the highest standards while adhering to safety regulations and project specifications. Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting through sanding, scraping, caulking, plastering, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality
• Apply coatings using various methods including brush painting, roller painting, spray painting (conventional and airless), and construction spray techniques
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to execute projects accurately
• Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment safely to complete painting and construction tasks
• Perform structural painting on walls, ceilings, beams, and other surfaces in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
• Conduct surface inspections with visual color comparison tools to match paint colors precisely according to project requirements
• Install fixtures, trim carpentry elements, stucco finishes, masonry components, and perform renovation or remodeling work as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations by wearing respiratory protection and following safety protocols during all operations
• Maintain detailed documentation of work progress, safety incidents, and project completion reports

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction estimating, residential painting, commercial painting, industrial painting or related fields
• Strong knowledge of color theory and surface preparation techniques specific to construction painting surfaces
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools (including paint sprayers), scaffolding equipment, and ladder use with a focus on safety
• Ability to interpret technical drawings such as schematics or blueprints for accurate project execution
• Familiarity with construction site safety regulations including respiratory protection and safety protocol adherence
• Experience with various coating applications like brush painting, roller painting, airless paint spraying and conventional spray techniques
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project scope and materials estimation
• Knowledge of carpentry (trim carpentry & frame carpentry), plastering, masonry or welding is a plus
• Hands-on experience with renovation projects involving restoration or remodeling work
• Strong attention to detail with excellent visual color comparison skills for precise color matching
• Ability to work effectively on construction sites with experience interpreting schematics or technical instructions

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
