Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant role located in Poway, CA. The selected candidate will assist in implementing personalized occupational therapy plans under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists. Responsibilities include conducting rehabilitation activities, engaging in direct patient care, assisting in program development, and collaborating with team members to ensure patients receive comprehensive care and support. Additional support in home care interventions may also be required for patients.
Qualifications
- Skills in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation to effectively assist in therapy delivery.
- Experience in Patient Care and collaboration to ensure optimal recovery and support for patients.
- Program Development skills to contribute to creating effective treatment plans and strategies.
- Knowledge or experience in Home Care to support patients outside the healthcare facility.
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, meeting state licensure requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide compassionate care and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site healthcare environment.
- Previous experience in a similar healthcare or rehabilitation setting is a plus.
