Duties
- Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, garnishes, glassware, and bar tools to ensure seamless service
- Maintain cleanliness of bar areas, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning glassware, and disposing of waste efficiently
- Support food preparation tasks such as prepping ingredients for cocktails or light snacks in accordance with safety standards
- Buss tables and clear empty dishes to uphold a tidy dining and bar environment
- Operate TOAST POS system for cash handling, order processing, and transaction accuracy
- Help set up and break down event spaces for banquets or special functions within the venue
- Ensure compliance with food handling regulations and uphold high standards of customer service at all times
Skills
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining hygiene standards in a busy setting
- Experience with food preparation, catering, or banquet service preferred
- Familiarity with TOAST POS systems for efficient cashiering and order management
- Previous nightclub or hospitality experience highly desirable
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and confidently
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests, team members, and management
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, restaurant operations, and hotel service standards
- Title 4 Certificate
- Food Handlers Certificate
- Experience in bussing tables, serving guests, or working as a barista is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining professionalism
- Kitchen experience or food industry background beneficial for supporting overall venue operations
