Pour Out Project (POP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in the Upstate of South Carolina. Our mission is to strengthen small and mid-sized nonprofits and ministries by helping them grow their capacity, increase sustainability, and multiply their impact.
Founded on Christian values, POP partners with more than 20 organizations each month—providing strategy, guidance, and support that allow them to better serve their communities and advance the Gospel throughout the Upstate.
Position Overview
Pour Out Project is seeking an energetic, personable, and motivated Fundraising Executive to join our growing team.
This individual will play a key role in building relationships, spreading awareness, and growing the donor base that fuels our mission. The Fundraising Executive will report directly to the Director of Development and will help expand Pour Out Project’s presence and impact across the Upstate community.
While no prior fundraising experience is required, candidates with a proven record of success in sales, business development, or fundraising are strongly encouraged to apply.
This position offers a base salary plus incentives tied to achieving measurable fundraising goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with individual donors, businesses, and churches.
- Share Pour Out Project’s mission and impact story with potential supporters throughout the Upstate.
- Identify and pursue new giving opportunities through networking, outreach, and referrals.
- Collaborate with the Director of Development on fundraising campaigns, events, and strategic initiatives.
- Represent Pour Out Project at community gatherings, networking functions, and meetings.
- Track donor engagement and results within the CRM system.
- Contribute to a positive, faith-driven culture centered on service and excellence.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills — confident in meeting new people and sharing vision.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a goal-oriented mindset.
- Ability to represent a Christian organization with professionalism and integrity.
- Organized and reliable with the ability to manage multiple relationships and tasks.
- No fundraising experience required; however, background in sales, business development, or relationship-based work is highly preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in nonprofit, ministry, or mission-driven work.
- Familiarity with CRM or contact-management systems.
- Existing network in the Upstate South Carolina business or church community.
