Pomona Cider Company is hiring bartenders!
A bartender’s primary focus is to provide clients with an excellent drinking experience while monitoring alcoholic consumption/maintaining safety. As a bartender, an employee is expected to arrive prepared and on time, professionally serve food and drinks that exceed customers’ expectations, and always uphold all Pomona Cider Company standards. Before working, all bartenders must pass the Safe Serving Certification Class and obtain a bartending license.
This position is hourly, plus tips
Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- Personable, fun, and easy-going
- Hold a valid Wisconsin Bartending License (any county)
Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain a growing mental database of cider/food options that are made available
- Confirm guests are of legal drinking age through ID examination
- Complete opening/closing checklists
- Maintain a clean bar and space
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area and bathroom via SERV-Safe standards
- Monitor guests’ alcoholic intake and exercise your refusal to serve, when appropriate
- Inventory beverages (when applicable) before, during, and after each shift.
- Accept challenges that arise in a positive and proactive way
- Uphold the existing policies and procedures set forth by the Pomona.
