Key Responsibilities
- Guest Interaction: Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, creating a positive first impression.
- Menu Presentation: Present menus and make thoughtful recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Order Management: Take accurate food and beverage orders, entering them into the POS system efficiently.
- Service Delivery: Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring each dish is presented perfectly.
- Guest Satisfaction: Monitor guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
- Checkout Process: Prepare and deliver checks, process payments, and ensure excellent customer service during checkout.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless and timely service.
- Work Station Maintenance: Keep your work station and dining area clean and organized.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of food and beverage items, including beer, wine, and cocktails.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A valid food handlers permit is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
