Part-Time Property Maintenance
Hours: Saturday & Sunday evenings 6:00pm-10:00pm. Other hours may be avilable.
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Property Maintenance to join our shopping center maintenance staff on a part-time basis. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the shopping center's common areas, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our tenants and visitors.
The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, takes pride in their work, and can work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and restock public restrooms throughout each shift.
- Maintain the cleanliness of all common areas, including entrances and sidewalks
- Vacuum, dust mop, sweep, and mop floors as needed.
- Clean interior and exterior windows and glass doors.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Dust fixtures, furniture, railings, and other common area surfaces.
- Monitor restrooms and common areas throughout the shift to ensure they remain clean and well-stocked.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or repairs needed to the Maintenance Supervisor or Plaza Manager.
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial, custodial, or maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including walking, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Comfortable using cleaning equipment and supplies safely.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
