Poughkeepsie Nissan is looking for a motivated Used Car Technician Apprentice to train directly under one of our most experienced and highly qualified Technicians. Guaranteed 40 Hours per week, regardless of your experience or production levels. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior technicians with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs
• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, brake services, and multi-point inspections
• Learn to troubleshoot and repair engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
• Support the reconditioning and safety inspection of pre-owned inventory
• Maintain organized repair orders, service records, and parts documentation
• Uphold dealership safety standards, quality control, and customer satisfaction
• Operate tools, equipment, and diagnostic software in accordance with Nissan standards
• Work collaboratively with the service advisors, parts department, and reconditioning team

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude
• Previous automotive or technical training a plus, but not required
• Dealership or independent shop experience welcomed
