What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor of Special Education position at Pottstown School District?
Pottstown School District is seeking a Special Education Supervisor to join our team.
Key responsibilities include functioning as a liaison for students in out-of-district placements as well as, supporting, evaluating, and supervising special education personnel. For all in-district programs, this candidate will manage and oversee programming in learning support, autistic support, emotional support, and lifeskills support.
The ability to multi-task is critical to the success of this candidate. This position will report directly to the Director of Special Education but will need to be able to work collaboratively with buidling level administration as well as teachers to ensure consistent programming and messaging throughout the district.
Must have an active special education teaching certification in PA as well as a supervisory certificate for special education.
Acts 34, 114, and 151 Clearances, Physical, and TB must be presented before employment can commence.
Google Certification or Google Classroom experience, preferred.
