What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Customer Service position at POTTSTOWN PHARMACY?
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Scan and bag items efficiently
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide recommendations
- Will be trained to count pills
- Woud require the employee to be standing almost all of the time
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in technical sales or technology-related products is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with customers
- Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems is an advantage
- Willingness to learn about products and provide product demos to customers
