**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at Pottery Barn. As a key member of our sales floor support team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our merchandise is accurately received, stocked, and displayed on the sales floor.
Main Responsibilities:
- Scan shipment as delivered and verify inventory against packing slips
- Ticket and stock merchandise in the stock room or prepare it for immediate distribution to the sales floor
- Provide feedback to supervisors regarding inventory levels and damages
- Organize the stockroom by department and categories, and stock merchandise on appropriate shelves or in off-site locations
- Adjust stocking procedures to ensure aisles and exits are clear
