The expected starting pay range for this position is $24 - $26/hour. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. About The Role
The Design Coordinator supports the team with sample management, presentation materials, vendor communication, general organization, and task management.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the production of design concepts as directed by design team
- Assist team with spec out process, which includes maintaining a spreadsheet of products, organizing spec packages, shipping, and following up with information in PLM
- Organize detailed information in a faced paced environment.
- Help with presentation boards and presentation mockups as needed
- Keep track of what supplies the team needs and order supplies as needed
- Schedule appointments, correspond with outside vendors and keep track of invoices
- Be involved in product development cycle and calendar; organize the calendar for the team and keep track of important dates
- Update and maintain seasonal product information
- Be proactive; have the ability to see what needs to be done and pitch in to help
- Keep sample room, textile library, color library, and studio organized
- Operate a computer and communicate via telephone
- Proficient in Microsoft Office & good communication skills. Basic Photoshop & PLM knowledge helpful but not required
- Transport materials and equipment and lift, move and carry objects up to 50 pounds on a limited basis
- Bachelors or Design degree (or experience in related field)
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and schedule work in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills
- This role requires being onsite in the San Francisco office
