Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Yearbook Staff member based in Natchitoches, LA. The Yearbook Staff member will be responsible for tasks such as content creation, collecting and organizing photos, conducting interviews, writing articles, fact-checking, and editing materials. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with team members to develop creative layouts, designing pages, ensuring deadlines are met, and maintaining brand consistency throughout the publication.
Qualifications
- Strong writing, storytelling, and interviewing skills for writers
- Proficiency in layout design and photo editing software; experience with tools such as Adobe InDesign and Lightroom if applying for a design position
- Attention to detail for editing, proofreading, and fact-checking for editors
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment and communicate ideas effectively
- Organization and time management skills to meet deadlines in a creative environment
- Experience in the desired field is preferred
- Familiarity with yearbook production or other editorial projects is preferred
