Job Summary
Our surgery center is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations with a strong focus on perioperative care. This role oversees nursing and surgical staff, sets clinical policy, and ensures compliance with accreditation and state ASC standards across pre-op, intra-op, and post-op services. The Director partners with surgeons and administration to maintain high standards of patient safety, staffing, and quality outcomes.
Responsibilities include managing daily nursing operations, staff scheduling and training, infection control, and quality assurance programs. The Director also participates in budgeting, equipment and supply oversight, and regulatory readiness for surveys and accreditation.
Requirements: active RN license, BSN preferred, 5 years perioperative/OR nursing experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role, and current BLS/ACLS certification. Prior ambulatory surgery center experience strongly preferred.
No weekend, overnight call, or holidays.
Pay: $125,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
