Role Description The Licensed Massage Therapist will provide therapeutic massage services to patients as part of an integrated healthcare team in an on-site setting located in Ashburn, VA. This contract role involves performing assessments, delivering appropriate massage treatments, and documenting patient sessions in accordance with practice standards and state regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with chiropractors and other providers to support treatment plans, educating patients on stress management and self-care techniques, and maintaining a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment. The therapist will manage appointment schedules, ensure excellent customer service, and contribute to a positive, respectful clinic atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage techniques to support patient comfort and recovery.
- Skills in Shiatsu and related modalities to address musculoskeletal issues and promote overall well-being.
- Strong Customer Service and Stress Management skills to foster a supportive, calming experience for patients.
- Current state license as a Massage Therapist in Virginia and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Experience working in a clinical, chiropractic, physical therapy, or sports medicine setting preferred.
